    Can you be a vegetarian and not have it be a moral choice so much as a personal taste one?

    I think I might enjoy it if it carried no moral association that I have to be self-righteous about.

    i know people who are vegetarian because they don't like the taste of meat and nothing to do with the moral aspect of it

    Yeah I do too, but those same people also tell me the more pushy ones expect them to fulfill some sort of social obligation.

    It's just one of those things that's political and whatever you do with it makes it sound like a statement so you just have to put up with it.
