There are times when I can find ISTPs to be very annoying.

This isn't one of them: rock on, Poki! ISTPs have a huge dose of common sense to teach the rest of us.
An argument is two people sharing their ignorance.

A discussion is two people sharing their understanding, even when they disagree.

I feel like seeing my family again has kind of helped pull me out pf my weird trance state already. I feel more in tune with the outside world already.

I looked upon the assembly, and lo, a wonder! I saw a the legion passing through the narrow gate, one by one, and come out an egg. And with glee, I took a hammer and set the armies free to run senseless.

I always ignore that advice. I'd rather face reality than run away from it.

Well I find the good and bad AI contrasts interesting, the role of reason, unreason and emotion, ultimately humanity, one portrays post humanity positively, I would say naively but the other does so horrifically but not too horrifically or mundanely evil, if that makes sense.

The Borg or the cybermen are desirable states of being to many singularity thinkers.
