I have some really fucking awesome friends ...

... but I think I'll still be smashing things this evening (Skyrim, probably).
An argument is two people sharing their ignorance.

A discussion is two people sharing their understanding, even when they disagree.

I'm going to take this to mean that you're going to take a hammer to a physical boxed copy of Skyrim.

My ex liked Broad City. She was raised as a Mormon.

Speaking of Skyrim, I've been craving a nice RPG with lots of customization. Like something Bioware would make. Any reccs?

Does anyone know what that's called when you imagine you have an audience or make appeals to an imagined gallery and there isnt one?

I dont know if its a logical fallacy but its definitely an illusion or delusion.

both coworker and I are sick, which caused some pathetic fun at work yesterday... I was on all kinds of drugs in hopes of being able to breathe and was pretty out of it mentally and had lost most of my voice, she couldn't hear particularly well... I kept trying to tell her some sort of story that didn't really have a point (maybe? I'm not sure if I had a point to it ) and she kept yelling "HUH? DID YOU SAY SOMETHING? SPEAK UP!" like an old person...

Seems like a classic public speaking practice technique to me.
