The latest uproar is that the landlord of the new office spaces will not allow these breeds:

    Pit Bull Terrier
    Rottweiler
    Doberman Pinscher
    Pembroke Welsh Corgi
    Presa Canario
    German Shepard
    Chow Chow
    Welsh Corgi
    Alaskan Malamute
    Husky
    Boxer
@BadOctopus, or anybody who knows their dogs, what's the matter with these creatures?

Most of those breeds are blacklisted by many apartment or office owners, because of their reputation for being aggressive or unpredictable. The corgi is a surprise, though. I suppose they have been known to nip at heels, because they're herding dogs, but I've never personally witnessed it. As someone who has owned two corgis and had dealings with many more, I regard them mostly as fluffy, stubby-legged little derps. But they are loud. Maybe that's the concern.

    I don't know.
Pit Bull Terrier and Rottweiler are generally dangerous breeds. But Huskie? Chow chow? Pembroke Welsh Corgi? I don't understand.
And German Shepards are usually nice and friendly

    ^ Okay that explains corgis

I have decreed that anyone who owns a German Shepard is evil, because logic.

I watched a video about some naughty man in high school and I fell asleep through most of it, but there was something about a German Shepard, so that must have been key to all of it.

I had a German Shepard growing up, she was very friendly but frighteningly protective of me.

@BadOctopus It was the corgi exclusion specifically that caused the uproar. Nobody I work with has one, but I suspect a large amount of people I work with dreams of one.

Hitler had a German shepard named Blondie -> German shepards are evil.

    Incidentally he was also vegetarian

Okay, okay, being used as police dogs the world over probably doesn't help either.
