    Even though I fully comprehend it intellectually, crossing time zones will always be magic to me, much like logic and money.

    You hem me in -- behind and before;

    too lofty for me to attain.

    I finally watched the Star Trek: TOS episode Amok Time. It was pretty good. Having seen it, I 'd consider it my favorite out of all the TOS episodes I've watched.
    I looked out this morning and the sun was gone
    Turned on some music to start my day
    I lost myself in a familiar song
    I closed my eyes and I slipped away

    I had planned to go to the barbers today but couldnt because the town was rammed, I mean absolutely rammed with people, lots of whom were just dizzying out onto the road or falling from the pavements into the path of my motor, which I was driving really slow to allow for it because angry as it may make me I dont feel like becoming a hit and run driver.

    I noticed the amount of people who had physical deformities or other signs and indicators of disability, the place was teeming with them, plus the old, then lots and lots of apparently learning disabled or some other sort of impairment.

    It makes me sad because it means there is, naturally enough, major, major limits to what can be achieved culturally, socially or, I dont know, perhaps, materially in the community here and I dont believe that this part of were I live is even the worst in this respect.

    And the rich and well heeled here are even stupider, more dull and nasty too.

    No you aren't.
    An argument is two people sharing their ignorance.

    A discussion is two people sharing their understanding, even when they disagree.
