I sleep through those without trouble, I did use earplugs once which I have for using to stop my ears filling up with water in the shower, although I wouldnt use them again, it was like sensory deprivation if that makes sense, I think I hear sounds while I'm asleep and that just works for me.

I love thunder and electric storms.

The only thing which stops me getting sleep is if I have high sugars or trauma issues but usually they are not that serious, I'm pretty resilient, sleep deprivation is the pits though.

I'm not sure if our cat's more pissed off that we're keeping her in the porch right now, or that I'm subjecting her to the Beach Boys.

It doesn't matter, you're going to hell because you have a gun in your avatar. What your cat thinks is irrelevant.
Winterman is coming through the forest down to his Chrimbus cave inside the woods. Now's the time to tell him everything you want inside your Chrimbus bush!

And so, my fellow Americans: ask not what your country can do for you - ask what you can do for your country . . . wait, this is 2016.

I was just standing in line at Dutch Bros. to get an iced green tea with passion fruit (which, incidentally, is the shit), and the guy in front of me gave me a wink, a tongue click, and a "Hiya dollface".

Dollface? Wow. What is he, a 1940s mobster? I think he must have left his zoot suit at home.

$20 says you 'swooned', but won't admit it
"The most merciful thing in the world, I think, is the inability of the human mind to correlate all its contents... Some day the piecing together of dissociated knowledge will open up such terrifying vistas of reality, and of our frightful position therein, that we shall either go mad from the revelation or flee from the light into the peace and safety of a new Dark Age.
