I think I might try watching an exotic sport. Maybe baseball.

I used to watch the sumo wrestling on channel four all the time when it was on, I think sundays, it was brilliant.

I remember the cheapo everything bargain pound store up the town stocking the sumo figures which were popular around that time, and ninjas, it was odd because these action figures were never of any range, not a recognisable one, and they usually came in packaging which wasnt in english anyway. I used to imagine that the "stars" of the sport had their own following in Asia who used to buy action figures like in the west people would buy the WWE or WWF wrestlers.

There was another sport too in which you had to hold you breath and stray from your own teams side of the pitch into the other sides and dodge about for an alloted time or be tripped or brought down and shoulders pinned to the ground for an alloted time to be eliminated too, I think it was an Indian sport, but I dont remember its name, it was shorter lived than the Sumo, it was great too though.
