A customer misplaced some information I needed. Which is fine. What is not fine is that she started trying to initiate small talk. How did I handle it? I told her that I wasn't doing so great and that I had a really bad headache. Metaphorically, that's true, from a certain point of view.
My acting might not have been good enough to pull this off, but at least I didn't have to have a stupid conversation about the weather because people can't deal with silence.
