I had no clue where to post this so.... Has anyone visited the website Oddly Developed Types? This person has done an interesting job on what the types would be like in the event of an apocalypse. Here's their take on idealists, they also break it down further and give each type their own story, just click on the links on the left. Idealists | Oddly Developed Types

Interesting concept. It would give so many options.

I'm not procrastinating; I'm just exercising my extraverted perceiving functions

This is just my experience, and it may or may not be true for you, but I've found that I tend to be happier if I stick with what I want, vs. if I try to adapt myself to fit in with what others think I should want. I tried the other thing a lot in my early twenties, and it just made me miserable. While I can kinda sorta fit into a group if I avoid saying or doing anything that people might think is weird, it feels like pulling teeth. And even if I do "blend in", others can kinda tell that something is off. I might as well embrace my eccentricities, and perhaps even reveal them to certain select people, rather than hide from them.

Do what you need to stay alive and off the streets, and everything else is up to you. That's an approach that's worked for me. Yes, you need to eat and you need a place to sleep, and you may have to compromise to maintain those, but if it's something that's not necessary for the continued existence of those things, I say to hell with it.

If anyone else thinks this is terrible advice, feel free to criticize and tell me I'm full of shit. I'm usually up for feedback.

Now running at full power, extroversion has been charged by the life energy of introverts. It was entirely consensual.
