how can you LOVE SOMEONE... and NOT TRUST THEM at the same time???
This is a good question. There's no universally agreed upon definition of love in action, so when so many are coming at it from their own angle and with their own template very strange things can happen in the name of 'love'. You can have someone who bullies you 'because they care,' or someone who puts you at risk of harm because they 'just feel so strongly.' And then there are others who work for a long time to earn your trust specifically so that they have enough wiggle room to do something that isn't very love-y. I've experienced all these things and so as often as I ask that question above I also ask how someone can love someone and not behave trustworthily.
I think I may be a coffee snob, and addict. The coffee from the coffee robot, which grinds the beans fresh is too bitter for me, but I have no choice but to drink it. I'm going to french press my own coffee and bring it in a thermos. /white-people-problems
I'm just having trouble understanding how I keep offending others or digging deeper holes even while trying to clarify my meanings or change the tone I'm writing in... Is the only way to solve it really just to leave?
