Yeah I was going to say that I feel uncomfortable because it draws my attention to my own perceived shortcomings. I cannot speak to your experiences though.

I don’t think you need to avoid her at all. If you want to be her friend, and she is nice to you, then it looks like your lack of loquaciousness is not a problem in this situation. Probably as you guys get to know one another better it will become not as big a deal.
Of course if it turns out you are romantically/sexually attracted to her, then there are other courses of action.
