There's an episode on the podcast Narrative Breakdown called "Artificial Intelligence and Us" which talks about different kinds of A.I. and what A.I. can represent in stories. They touch on alarmist science fiction and more optimistic takes on technology. They mention movies like 2001: A Space Odyssey, The Terminator, Robot and Frank, and HER. It might be of interest to some of you.

I have the worst headache ever. It sucks because it feels almost as if it is blocking my thoughts, making it hard to pull things together with each other. Makes my already fragile sense of concentration even worse. Asprin needs to kick in.
It occurs to me that the evil A.I. in science fiction is very INTJ-like and the good A.I. is very ENFP-like, hmmmm, there is something interesting happening there.
Ultron wasn't INTJ like at all.
R2-D2 is INTP-like. Nobody understands what he's going on about, except for maybe Luke, but he always comes through in a pinch and usually ends up being right. He had important information in his memory banks.
Sometimes I feel like I might as well communicate in beeps and whistles, so on that level at least, I have sympathy.
