Is it bad that my first thought was "this should be cute, but that kitten just sounds annoying and angry (even though it isn't)".

    *sigh* thanks for trying!

There are 2 types of people in this world. Those who follow best practices and those who try to create best practices. Difference between followers and leaders.
Take what I say with a grain of salt, because that's all it is compared to the ocean of complexity when it comes to actions and real life.

Its amazing how many people go through life saying "I can MAKE this work", instead of finding what works naturally with only minor adjustments.

    Need a hug?

Since there's no going back then it's time to move forward. Moving to a new place can be sorta depressing initially, you will always gonna miss your friends and loved ones from your old hometown, but with the advanced technology these days, you can always stay in touch with them via phone/email/Skype etc.

And I think moving to a new place is a good thing actually, being alone in a strange unfamiliar territory, it allows one to gain basic survival skills. This basic survival skills will aid you a lot in life, especially when you enter the working world.

My thoughts have been preoccupied with regular things like how good coffee is and contemplating the last episode of Mad Men.

I heard that episode was pretty mind-blowing.

(Also, there's no harm in enjoying the little things. )
    and it's nice enough to
