I don't like it because of all the weird time signatures. I like it because it makes me feel like I'm somewhere else.
"Wait, time out. I just wanted to ask real quick, if I can. You believe in rebellion, freedom and love, right? "

You! Yes, you there! What's on your mind when you're just walking along not thinking about anything?

It wasn't graceful and I'd like to avoid a repeat performance in the future.
You either point out the mistakes in their argument, or you simply avoiding getting into debates with them in the future.

Oh believe me, I pointed out the holes in his arguments like woah, but he wouldn't listen. I'm working on Plan B- avoiding that type of contact with him in the future. It's not worth my energy. He's not someone I can just *not talk to*, but I'm working on minimizing the amount of non-necessary contact.

    Thanks for weighing in

Add them to the list and forget about it, I've told conservatives, friends and foes, in the past that while I'm prepared to talk politics to them I pretty much thing that views are entrenched and its just a matter of time before someone starts popping caps, all debate is just temporary reprieve and most of the time a slagging match.

I think it'll be the right wingers who draw first blood but who knows.

You're not wrong. I don't often find fun in those kind of debates, it's akin to masturbating except less fun. I'm trying to figure out how to best distance myself from this person.
