My mum often tells me I remind her of her dad, who died before I was born.

In a way it's a bit creepy, but she also said he was an absent-minded professor with a million projects he never finished and often never started either. So she's saying that about me too?

Absent minded maybe, but professor with tons of projects? No way. I'm almost anti-intellectual and certainly get around to finishing my projects, which I have only a few of.

… a theory is primarily a form of insight, i.e. a way of looking
at the world, and not a form of knowledge of how the world is….
.. all our different ways of thinking are to be considered as
different ways of looking at the one reality, each with some
domain in which it is clear and adequate….

Overhearing Conierto de Aranjuez whilst walking in the rain reminds me of two things: My love for art, and I'm still a woman.

This building hates me. Last week the light fixture above my head stopped working. Today the other light fixture in my office stopped working.

Related, also because of silly beliefs, I've been reading about pangolins recently. Lovely animals, but are being eradicated to make soups and traditional medicines. Which of course don't work.

If you really want to maximize masculine potential, you get masculine male friends and not masculine female friends that think and act like men.

How about we just maximize snuggly potential? I vote for that!
