I bought this tea kettle for $6 at the thrift store, the thing is beautiful, heavy, enameled, and when the water boils it makes the sound of violins playing in harmony. It's a magic, singing, tea kettle.

So tired of people placing their entire concept of self worth on having a relationship. Why can't they do what normal people do, and base it on the number of jelly beans one carries?

Note to self buy more jelly beans so as to reach total badass status.
Even when the sun is shining, I can't avoid the lightning Oh, where did the blue skies go? And why is it raining so?

Oh my god. I just spend the past two hours reading a series of 12 stories posted on /r/neckbeardstories. So. Epic. This woman is a fantastic writer too. @EJCC @ReadingRainbows you might enjoy it. It's a lot to read though. It's a saga about a foregin exchange student in america who acquires a neckbeard follower who she just can't shake, then partially consciously takes to almost toying with him (I chalk it up to high school immaturity).

The main reason I stay up really late (4am or later) is because I'm bored and have not received sufficient entertainment or stimulation throughout the day. Unfortunately, that is easily 95% of days. It's never enough.

Doubly unfortunate, I need a solid 9 hours to feel refreshed, and I don't really feel refreshed if I didn't feel entertained/stimulated/properly drained on the previous day. Luckily I am so used to it it doesn't get me down. Took me until last year to even be aware of it, actually.

    I feel this SO hard.

Especially rough right now since today was rather slow, and tomorrow I have to churn out 70 pages of reading and a paper on it. It's all self-inflicted but it still really sucks.

Son: "It's my job to take care of you when you get old"

    Me: "Really, Ryan?"

Son: "Yeah, like when your an old lady in a wheel chair and I'm golfing with my buddies I won't care if they don't think its cool, I'm bringing you with me"

Me: "Since when am I in a wheelchair? To hell with that idea, I'm golfing too"

Every day without fail, my dog gives a happy little "woof" every time I put her food in her bowl. It must be nice to get so excited over something so boring.

I have strange dreams when I'm not feeling well.
