I come from a foodie family and food is an endless topic!
Improving recipes. Who makes this dish the best, in our family? Best restaurants in our area. New restaurants that just opened...Are they any good? What to serve at our next gathering.
Should we order from the Italian bakery, or the bakery that is closer?
Unfortunately I myself care little about food and I am like an alien in my family...I zone out.
Our food IS fabulous, though.
Hmm, as for a random thought...
Ate too much pie this weekend.
Celebrated Pi Day 3.14.15 heh heh.
Def. ate too much pie though!
How on earth do you turn food into a conversation topic? I didn't even think that was humanly possible, and I'm still not sure it is.
I love food and I love talking to people who love food. It is definitely humanly possible. You can talk about foods you love, compare ideas about techniques, flavor combinations, new things you've tried recently, science behind cooking.
I have 2 friends who cook professionally and talking to them is such an enriching experience!!!
Your kisses, sweeter than honey. But guess what, so is my money.

And I'll add that they used to skewer my eyeballs with a rusty pin whenever I misspelled a word. It should work very well, considering this person has an extremely intense dislike of people bending the truth. I might actually get my eyeballs skewered.
