@Qlip @Skinny-Love You are both correct really. She does things for me in a clingy, self serving way that desires to get love back as payment for her "giving". She would leave greeting cards on my desk like every week and write about having a bad week or what she needed from me-- selfishness masked in goodwill. She's 2w3, quite self deceptive and often takes the child role, putting responsibility for her needs on others (including fault for whatever goes wrong.

She seriously had a meltdown yesterday b/c her car got plowed in (we had a blizzard) b/c she decided not to move it for the past two days. She demanded to know if I'd seen what "they did to her". When I said that's actually pretty normal, and that a plow can't really get around a parked car (refusing to validate her view of herself as a victim), she blew up at me with a flurry or entitled reasons why someone should have shoveled her car out!

It's amazing. I digress, but cannot comprehend people who believe that the world owes them something.

Depends on the price. You could say I'm cheap, and they all look too expensive rn. At the same time, you get what you pay for so is it worth it to spend on the lower quality options? Sigh, decisions.

Of course there is the alternative to buying, and that is selling goals and ambitions.

Rather than being the plaything our our culture, we can create our culture. We can set the goals and ambitions of our culture.

And all we need to do it take a very deep breath first.
There is NOTHING--absolute nothing--half so much worth doing as simply messing about in boats. Simply messing.

Right now, my life goal is learning how to relax and go with the flow.

There's not much else you can do 99% of the time.

Had a run in with a thug-henchman while in the matrix today. It ended in a draw but has me considering adopting a "pre-emptive" defense policy ala Bush/U.S.A. Me thinks the police won't buy it though, even though it worked perfectly well for the U.S. Why am I, lone citizen held to a higher standard than my own government? I suspect the answer lies somewhere between hypocrisy and pragmatism.
"The most merciful thing in the world, I think, is the inability of the human mind to correlate all its contents... Some day the piecing together of dissociated knowledge will open up such terrifying vistas of reality, and of our frightful position therein, that we shall either go mad from the revelation or flee from the light into the peace and safety of a new Dark Age.
