Speaking to a consultant who came in to work today, who is blind, about the program she uses to read materials on screen, called JAWS.
Her: "I have to bring my own computer, with my own programmed Jaws software, because even if you download the software for me, it won't be set up to my preference. For example, I've programmed it to read "oz" as ounces."
Me: "So you read "Wizard of Oz" as "Wizard of Ounces"?"
Her: "I don't think you're seeing my point."
