    If birds keep coming back to a tree to eat its fruit, could it possibly be that the fruit is addictive and has similar properties to alcohol or drugs to them?

    Panic in Detroit!
    You hem me in -- behind and before;
    you have laid your hand upon me.

    My hands are cracked from all the hand sanitizer I used while/after riding the NYC subways for 2 days.
    I forgot how filthy that place is. Gah.

    Oh man, I keep hearing about this magical food, marzipan. I really want to try it, preferably with a dark chocolate coating.. where can I find some to buy? Any particular brand? I'd make some myself, but I'd like to see how it normally tastes before I try my hand at it.

    I have a clear recommendation. This one - Niederegger - is a national institution and by far the best one I have seen/tried so far (if you can find it):

    L

    Lübeck Marzipan (German: Lübecker Marzipan) refers to Marzipan originating from the city of Lübeck in northern Germany and has been protected by an EU Council Directive as a “Protected Geographical Indication” (PGI) since 1996. The Marzipan manufacturers of Lübeck like Niederegger, Carstens, Lubeca or Marzipan-Land follow some principles of quality by voluntary commitments (not required by the directive). Niederegger, for example, uses 100% almond paste and no sugar.[1]
    ^That's why its quality is so superior!

    EDIT: I just saw that it is sold in the US but is darn expensive there. @EJCC I should have sent you a package fullof that stuff, you could have made a fortune reselling it!
