Omg. Who had the avatar of the wiggling otter thing? Chana? This made me think of it.
“Everybody has a secret world inside of them. All of the people of the world, I mean everybody. No matter how dull and boring they are on the outside, inside
them they've all got unimaginable, magnificent, wonderful, stupid, amazing worlds. Not just one world. Hundreds of them. Thousands maybe.” -Neil Gaiman

With that said, I also like the point the creator was trying to make.

I had a group of otters hang out near my backyard for a day once. It was snowy, and they were using the bank of a creek as a slide for fun.

Sayrah blew life into the spheres and they moved. From her wheel she weaved the names of people in to mystery.

Terrible things happen to good people every day.
Consequentially, I am not one of the good people.
I am one of the terrible things.

In real life I can't do it 'cause it's just so embarrassing and I won't stand the pressure. But here is way easier and I can discover parts of me i didn't even know they existed :P
I think people generally like me more when I'm kind of an asshole to them. When I'm in my standard sweet and caring mode they would hardly notice me :P

I see you're an INFP too, do you have this problem as well?
    What's the problem?

People liking more when I'm an asshole? Unfortunately, I don't have a sweet and caring mode. Or if I do, the switch for it is covered with dust and cobwebs from disuse. I do have a tendency of making people adjust to me. Once they get past a certain point, it's fine.

Wanting to appear more confident but being embarrassed and feeling pressured? Yes. Always. Whenever I interact with people, and it really doesn't matter when or where, I always feel held back. I don't want to look stupid or say the wrong thing. The doubt gets to me.

People hardly noticing me? I'm not sure. I used to think I was invisible. People wouldn't notice that I was talking to them sometimes, so instead of asserting myself, I faded out of social interactions. There wasn't anything interesting about me, and I wasn't naturally likeable. I decided not to try. Turns out, the people I used to know not only remember me, they remember me fondly. They remember more about me than I do about them. I probably believed people weren't giving me a chance because I didn't want to give them a chance. That would've meant putting myself out there. By telling myself they didn't like me, I was relieved of having to meet them halfway.

I'm not sure if any of that is related to what you were asking. If not, let me know.
