do you have 1,000 foot poles lying around? does anyone? why would anyone need 1,000 foot poles?

Methadone has worse physical withdrawal symptoms than heroin. That's what I meant. He was basically withdrawing from both because he was doing smack on the side of his maintenance program. But as I said, the main work comes afterwards anyway.

    Fentanyl has ever worse withdrawals.

P.S.: On the bright side, his HIV test came out negative. But it took the doctors ridiculously long to take his blood because his veins were so collapsed.

my ex-junkie friends hate going to the pheblotomist because my law they can't take blood themselves and it be quicker because they have experience with shooting up and shit. they're like i'd get poked less if they'd just give me the needle

Didn't know that about methadone. Yeah drugs are bad. Especially those two.

Of course I do. I have like a dozen of them in my broom closet. To keep drugs away.

maybe I should get some, but even my friends who do drugs (even the crackhead) won't let me touch anything stronger than weed. and I don't really have the desire to and if I did i'm to shy and paranoid (like i'm convinced the dealer would think i was a narc, so I don't even try)

    We've got #darnlions , only in Kenya...

One of the attractions about disappearing into your head is that it expands space, so is a subjective defense mechanism in places like cafes, buses, or other inner city zones where there isn't a lot of objective space. A small spot in a crowd doesn't feel as crowded after a while of reading or thinking heavily.

I got punched in the face, again. I was trying to keep a zombie cyclist from getting his ass kicked by a bunch of wanna-be South Parkers.
