I don't know why you guys are beating around the bush here, she simply doesn't make people a priority in her life. She doesn't need them, probably for being let down so many times. (my own theory there)
So... This was scary: I Came over to my mother's for the weekend, at 2am heard noises from the front door that sounded like they were coming from the lock. I got up and quickly closed the interior door lock, looked in the peephole & saw two guys standing there trying to open it, probably late teens or early 20s... I shouted to my mother to wake up and call the police, she got stressed out, I heard them chuckling, I realized they can't see me and told her to calm down, they are barely half my size... That's when they walked away to the elevator. The police were ofcourse too late to catch anyone, just did their thing to take information and gave a courtesy look around the neighborhood. It's is somewhat worrying... What would have happened if I wasn't here?
My ISTP friend and ex-roomie never fails to address maintenance issues. The intercom constantly beeps, so she has the talk button scotch taped down. The upstairs toilet is half effective, so she has a sign that says 'flush twice'. The microwave makes an ominous buzzing noise at all times, so she has a post it that says, "unplug when not using". Practical and handy.
Dumb cat is looking at me all like, "I'm going to wear my claws down on this vintage couch, what are you going to do about it?" And I'm all like, "I don't fucking care, you're not my cat and it's not my couch." /best pet sitter evar
