Yeah. Or I'd at least be concerned if a person I started dating took 48 hours to respond to a text. Though I wouldn't necessarily assume she was mad, I might consider that we work with incompatible timeframes/priorities.

^ IMO this could be sorted out pretty easily if the two of them had an honest talk about it. It can be easy to adapt to people with opposite timeframes as long as your expectations are reasonable.

But I dunno. I could be too optimistic here.

48 hrs would kill me, I'd either assume they were dead or hated me. and I'm like to assume that they were dead. especially if the last interaction was positive
    In no likes experiment.

    that is all

i dunno what else to say so

woah, seriously?! sometimes my friends take a couple days to respond to me, and it's considered normal. like it's just a product of being busy. do most people who are dating stay in constant contact at the very beginning? i thought it was supposed to build up to that over the course of the relationship.

a text takes 10=30 seconds to type and send. and if i ask a direct question and i think they want to sleep with me or something.

but still, if you have to interact with a ton of people everyday (like i do, at my job), you're pretty drained when you come home. and responding to messages *is* kind of a big deal. i honestly wasn't trying to be insensitive!

to type a phrase and hit send? you are able to get on the forum, you were in vent last night. I'm not saying you have to respond right that moment but within 24 hours is reasonable.
