    @Red Herring

    Ooh. I am intrigued.

    What does it taste like? How do you serve it? Always fresh, raw, and with a bit of salt?
    and it's nice enough to
    make a man
    weep, but I don't
    weep, do
    you?

    That's how I usually eat it, but some people cook it with other veggies. It is also known as German turnip and a member of the brassica genus in the mustard family that also includes cabbages, broccoli, etc. It's somewhat cruchy and has a sweetish and slightly mustardy taste.

    Because of RH's username, thought for a second that you were asking about how to cook red herrings.

    Or, not cook them , since you say it's raw. Sushi?

    Also: You just made a red herring post about Red Herring, yet not about red herring!

    Dancing to Beyoncé before work in an effort to do what I can to make it a good day.
    You hem me in -- behind and before;
    you have laid your hand upon me.
    Such knowledge is too wonderful for me,
    too lofty for me to attain.

    Yum. I want to try it now! I'm sure my local high-end grocery would have some...

    It will be so, for Queen Bey has decreed it.

    I'm so lazy today. I'm laying in my bed, not looking forward to having to deal with finding something to eat for lunch. To think, I'm going to actually have to start working next week.

    The world doesn't care, for someone who has always been alone... But the world is not a very nice place, it's a very cruel place.
