Hmm... tomorrow my brother, sister and I will be 22.
I never would have thought that my life would take such a huge turn the way it did. At the beginning of 2013, I had undergone surgery to remove a cyst from where the bottom of my spine was. It took a couple of months for me to recover from it, but with my family's help I made it through.
I stumbled along the way with my studies, falling and picking myself back up again each day. I met a few good friends, despaired over periods of loneliness, and met my now-ex (who I still consider a good friend, and whom I wish to remain on good terms with once things settle down).
Now I'm one year wiser, moving forward into an uncertain future with an odd mix of worry and hope: I'm worried about my academic progress and whether I will graduate, but I'm also hopeful that I will be able to make it through if I focus and do my best.
