I feel old: my friend who just turned 22 had no clue what DOS was.

and I downloaded this game: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ascendancy_(video_game)

    (a game I played as a child)

    and downloaded a DOS emulator

the problem with the saying "the sky's the limit" besides being ridiculously cliche is that if you think about it, the universe is so vast that the end of the sky really isn't that far on that scale, meaning you don't have a very big limit. Now if someone said "the point in the universe directly across from us is the limit", I'd feel more encouraged.

I hate how I have no motivation to do even the things I love sometimes anymore, its like what the fuck is wrong with me??I think forcing myself to do all that schoolwork like a good little worker ant, against my very nature is taking it's toll on me.It makes me feel just a little miserable that I can't bring myself to pursue my true loves the way I used to be able to when I was a kid.

I know, right? I hate it when it gets like this. I just want to discuss things, not be berated.
