I'm leaving at 5 today. Not 6. It's a public holiday and I've had 3 customers all day and no sales.

I don't even know why she bothered to have me open the store today and yesterday. Yay bad management.

Terrible things happen to good people every day.
Consequentially, I am not one of the good people.
I am one of the terrible things.

There's really not a lot to say about it. You have to be alive in order to be bored and that's one of those few choices that are usually within our power.

I'll be honest, i kind of gave this a go, and if you get the VERY top layer of skin on your hands it doesn't hurt at all. It was really, really strange.

My mom was a seamstress, there were needles all over the place when I was a kid. I used to stick several of them into my skin like this. Just like you said, it doesn't hurt.

Hmm... this is interesting. How would one manage to get the topmost layer of skin there? That must take a great deal of care and precision, wouldn't it? (Sorry for my ignorance on the matter!)

Maybe I'm really stupid and everything I look at is both dull gray and written in arabic (tried learning, bored me).

So was mine, one of my favourite things when i was younger was to stick the sewing needles and pins in my fingers and pretend i was a monster to my mum, yelling RAAAAARRRR as i did. Then she'd tell me off for making her pins blunt. priorities.

If you hold the pin horizontal against your hand (try the edge of your palm first, it has the thickest skin) and just very gently push the pin against the skin it should get just the top layer and you'll feel a pressure, but nothing else. It's like when you pumice your heels to get rid of extra skin, no pain =)
