    I'm trying to find the ideal beard length for softness and comfort. I have an electric trimmer with guards of various lengths. The smallest one is too short, so not soft enough. Anyone have any thoughts on this to share so I don't have to go with trial and error?

    You hem me in -- behind and before;
    you have laid your hand upon me.
    Such knowledge is too wonderful for me,
    too lofty for me to attain.
