    So I've been informed that yesterday, one of my cats, who has for many years been living with my parents without me, that I've only seen a couple times a year since, died.

    I feel like I'm taking the news a fair bit harder than I would have anticipated.

    Maybe it just seems like particularly rotten timing. I was going to visit my parents (and therefore him) for Thanksgiving.

    Go to sleep, iguana.

    Well, I must say, I don't brush my teeth as much as "they" say I should, and they are still healthy and work fine. Maybe I should stop brushing them altogether.

    Aw, that sucks. Hope you feel better soon, time heals all wounds. Just remember all the good times you had with him and be glad that he lived a good life.

    I'm studying accounting at the moment and my class and I have had a degree of difficulty determining (in a double entry system) which is debit and credit. The accounting process is easy but the position of an entity switches e.g. the cash book is back to front! This is compounded when you are unable to determine why the switch has occurred and the only apparent solution is to accept it is true and rote learn it. From what I understand it's a matter of perspective (one man's debt is another man's income) and that as an INFP (a type with supposed aptitude in empathy and imagining other perspectives) this should be easy. Alas though it is not.

    black coffee club, unite!
    You hem me in -- behind and before;
    you have laid your hand upon me.
    Such knowledge is too wonderful for me,
    too lofty for me to attain.
