Had my first all nighter doing securities research last night, just because I wanted to.
We've been experiencing a lovely boom in the natural Gas energy sector ever since massive reserves where discovered domestically several years ago.
Concurrently, we've seen strong growth of pass through MLP's with preferential regulatory treatment. The nature of the pass through requires a level of interaction with investors (a pass through can keep no retained earnings and thus must go back to the well provided by investors more often than more antiquated C corp companies) that makes the MLP more immediately accountable to investors.
I think I'm going to make a hell of a financial advisor.

I don't think there's anything wrong with backing stuff up by externals, be it a person, experience, theory, or whatever else.
Glory to me seems more like the idea of getting power, but also using it to make a better world and to share happiness.
