My maternal language is English but my primary and secondary schooling was predominantly in French. I didn't have a science class in English until I was in high school (14 y.o.), didn't take a math class (calculus) in English until my very last semester of high school (16-17 y.o.), and never took a social studies course in English, period.

I haven't spoken French regularly since high school, 10 years ago. I can't really hold a conversation anymore.

ENFPs are so foreign to me. Their entire way of thinking, feeling, perceiving the world, acting and reacting, living their life and especially of interacting with other people. The longer I am on the forum the more I realize that instead of understanding better I have come to feel even more perplexed as time passes. The more I hear the less I understand. Whatever I would think, feel or do, they tend to do the opposite.

Frankly, I have a hard time "getting" Fi anyway and the stronger the Fi is in a person the harder it gets to have an idea of where they are coming from. Somehow ENFPs are the hardest to get and the most alien of the Fi users for me.

That's quite a frustrating thought after several years on this forum.

If anything learning another language gives you an interesting perspective on language as a whole. You start to see the patterns in language development, which I've always found kind of interesting. English in particular seems very interesting in that respect; it's a sort of bastard language that borrows from all the other European languages.

You should give it a try sometime. Try learning some Spanish, Spanish is relatively easy.
