stage 1: take for granted a natural behavior/mindset
- act out a behavior without consciousness, you are mature so it has to be mature.
stage 2: experience/observe the negatives of a behavior/mindset
- understand the problems of the behavior, the behavior becomes immature.
stage 3: experience the lack thereof of a behavior/mindset
- see the problems of not doing it and understand the logic & circumstances behind it.
rinse & repeat
the result is that no matter what, if you take your own maturity for granted, it will always appear like others have yet to learn what you have learned in life.
surprise surprise: most people take their maturity for granted (your neighbors too btw).
