Lol, my long-time separated wife filed a divorce without telling me. Well, she kind of did, but she's so sensitive about it that she never used the words and I thought she was talking about something else entirely, or maybe my listening skills are totally sub-par. Either way, it's pretty illustrative of why we're where we're at.

    LOL@atheism.

I think its particularly funny when they have to strain so hard to show how "oppressed" they are.

    Default Fe/Ti Incongruence - ACT I, Scene 1*

    Characters:
    ME, (INFJ)
    MOTHER, (ISFJ)

Shuffling is heard outside my door. The rounded shadows of two feet are cast over the wooden floor.** MOTHER stands there, paused. Listening. The shifting of boxes, & the pulling of packaging tape can be heard from my side of the door. The background warble of a TV show underlines the cacophony of packing sounds.

MOTHER: (terse) JESSICA. What are you doing?
ME: (calm, anticipative) I'm. . . packing? Do you need me to take care of something ?
MOTHER: (pregnant pause) ..What the hell are you watching in there?
ME: (enthusiastic) Documentaries about plane crashes, why?
MOTHER: (puzzled, slightly disgusted) ..why? Wtf is wrong with you.
ME: It's interesting! They're basically reassembling these planes that were broken into literally millions of pieces upon impact to uncover mechanical faults.. pretty cool, they can actually pinpoint..
MOTHER: (still puzzled) You certainly didn't get that from me, (exasperated sigh, mutters) Your father's to blame for this.*** (she begins to shuffle away)
ME: (suppressing a laugh) For what ?

    (silence)

    End Scene 1

    [Footnotes:]
*no, I'm not actually writing a play.. this would be fucking terrible
**she always reminds me of Anton Chigurh from this scene [01:18] in No Country For Old Men when she does this

Can you believe that someone actually asked if I had kids? Do I look like I have kids or even like kids? I wonder if he was actually making fun of me...trouble is, I'm not quite sure of the joke if he is.

Ahahahaha! I absolutely love muscle memory and subconscious processing.

I was just absentmindedly doing basic horizontals with one of my balisongs, when in the split-second of the maneuver before you bounce the back of the blade off of your finger, I felt something was wrong. I ended up stopping the maneuver in that split-second only to discover that I had somehow started while holding the bite handle. That would have been bad for me.

It's so cool how your mind is capable of things like that.
