I dont really believe that, although I've been told that I dont take sectarianism as seriously as I should in the past and I've been a victim of it before now.

I'm wondering if cinema since the eighties has been a story of American nationalism, its consequences and critical responses to the same.

How long is it a good idea to stay in the coffee shop reading after you've finished your coffee? I sat the other day and I saw people looking disapprovingly at me after five minutes but if people were in for a talk with a friend over a coffee and had finished they could chat for up to an hour without anyone paying any notice.

Coffee. Just need more and more of the stuff.

I wasn't invalidating your point of view by any means, so you may want to tuck that defensive projection back in. Your perspective potentially has a higher degree of applicability where you live, perhaps, than where we are, and vice versa. It's not unheard of for different nations to display different cultural dynamics in varying degrees, right? That's all I was making a note of- it's a fairly neutral comment. No need to get your jimmies all rustled up.

No defensive projections, I was pointing out you were shutting down conversation on a forum designed for that purpose, dont worry you're not the only one who does it, like I said, it doesnt make sense to me whatever way you dress it up but that's alright, it must make sense to you otherwise you'd not have posted it I'm sure.

On an episode of the Simpsons earlier Homer bought a hotdog, a copy of a magazine called success and a bubblegum cigar, I just wondered if there is such a thing?

    I think I'd like a bubblegum cigar.
