The application process is so much worse once all the research is done. I'm currently finishing out the financial paperwork just so I can officially receive my scholarship.

I should really stop being so lazy and mix my own drinks instead of going to the bar.

Careful, though, @Aleda, to apply early ACTION more often than early DECISION -- because applying early decision means that if they accept you, you're pretty much required to say yes to them, regardless of who replies to you later.

Also, when I was applying (4 years ago, so things might be different now), schools made a point of keeping acceptance statistics roughly the same for early vs. regular, because they didn't want applying early to be some sort of Golden Ticket into the school.

Societal forced higher education in order to enter into better job prospects so as to fulfill the general rat race. Not that there isn't hard work involved though, which I respect.

Cause yknow...society dictates an' all that. Only to find that in fact most of what is offered isn't higher and certainly isn't newer.

Stick to factories, where memorising of repeated data is a benefit not a hindrance. Of course sometimes the aim is true and real education is sought and found, but often what is sought is hiding and what is found is a mask for the sought.
