I'm glad Hagel's been sworn in as Sec. Def.
This marks the end of our belligerent unilateralism that was a hallmark of the Bush years, although I think that is an albatross better hung around the necks of Bush's cabinet than Bush himself.
The reason the Neocons fought so hard against him is that they realized that Hagel's confirmation would be the beginning of the end for their brand of foreign policy.
This is a good thing for Republicans generally because it weakens the standing of our Hawk Wing, and will force the party to move back to our more restrained roots as far as military intervention is concerned.Your representative owes you, not his industry only, but his judgment; and he betrays, instead of serving you, if he sacrifices it to your opinion.

I'm so glad the people setting up the conference room are loud and obnoxious.

It seems like everyone and their brother is pregnant these days. (And you'd think if people's fricking brothers are pregnant, it'd be a piece of cake for me!! )

I feel like I've checked out for the day. I don't feel like working anymore. My job has become so monotonous anymore.
