On May 1, 2003, Hall married actress Amy Spanger; he played Billy Flynn opposite her Roxie Hart in the Broadway musical Chicago the summer after their wedding. The couple separated in 2005 and filed for divorce in 2006. On December 31, 2008, he eloped with Jennifer Carpenter, who plays the character of Dexter Morgan's adoptive sister, Debra Morgan, on Showtime's Dexter. They dated for a year prior to getting married. On December 18, 2010, Carpenter filed for divorce from Hall, citing irreconcilable differences. The filing also stated that the two had been separated since August 2010 and that she was seeking spousal support. Their divorce was finalized on December 3, 2011.
This book is one of the nerdiest things I know of, in the world. Maybe the nerdiest.
It's still very good, and I enjoyed it -- and you don't have to be a nerd to enjoy it -- but there's so much goddamn fan service in it. Halfway in, when he started quoting obscure portions of "Big Trouble in Little China"*, I literally dropped the book, threw my hands in the air, laughed, and exclaimed "What is this freaking book?! I can't even!!"
One of my top two creepy male customers is here today. Why is he creepy? #1: He blatently stares at my boobs. #2: He reeks of body odor. #3: Did I mention how he stares at my chest? I have to keep crossing my arms and then he stares at god knows what else. #4: He pulls this "I'm so helpless" and requires nonstop help while he gets angry at not knowing what to do and starts randomly yelling. #5: He will occasionally start hitting himself. #6: He will randomly start arguing with me and saying how wrong I am regardless of what I am actually saying. #7: The combination of all of the above.
Sounds like a 72 hour psych eval hold is in order. Have you tried wearing a burqa?
I pretty much expect him to murder me one of these days.
That would be totally lame.
