I want to pet them all the time. Really? I thought our duals were supposed to be ISFPs.

Pet is one idea. An amicable chew is another.

Luckily, I think most of them are into that sorta thing. I think what I like about ISFJs is that they're receptive but they enforce their boundaries, which I need. I worry about playing too rough with the IFPs, and them not piping up until I've already broken them.

Mmm. I could be wrong here as my knowledge of Socionics is what I've gathered from heresay and collected from sugar packets, but I think the answer is that it depends. MBTI ISFJs are either ISFp or ISFj depending on whether they have a more moderate preference for N/S (which makes them ISFp), or T/F (which makes them ISFj).

Whatever the case may be, I know that the rule on dual types is that to find your dual you change all the letters in the type except the last one. So ENTJ-->ISFJ.

I'll have to try them out sometime.

That's awesome to hear. I agree with you completely. I'm afraid that I bulldoze over IxFPs and that they only do things because they're scared of me. ISFJs can be stubborn about certain things and won't give in as easily.

Ah, I see. I find socionics somewhat confusing... http://www.sociotype.com/socionics/t...f-ESIs-Model-A This seems like an ISFJ description but the functions they use are Fi and Se according to this website.

    Oh okay, I get that.

(Umm. Let's see, what's the party line here? Right.)

No, you shouldn't gnaw on any ISFJ until you're older and ready to make that kind of decision. And always make sure that any biting you do is safe, sane, and consensual.

(I think that pretty much covers it... )

Yep. You got it. All the IJs are worth checking out, really, but ISJs are a great place to start. They're very sensible and there's such an easy click with them. While very much worthwhile in their own right, INJs are just a bit more work.

Honestly, Socionics is a clusterfuck of a system, imo. Much less elegant than MBTI. Type relations is the one kernel worthwhile, but the amount of confusion you'd have to go through to get to it is just...not.

I wish people hadn't quit responding to email these days - I'm waiting on four important responses from friends and may not get any. Texting and iphones have changed it. Now it seems email is mostly spam. Phooey.
