    Wow, this Christmas movie my dad was watching had ridiculous lines for these kids. Movies should not have elementary-age kids talking about taking another kid out on a date, or 'going steady', etc. It's not 'cute', it's weird, especially when it's not apparent that said character is simply imitating an elder figure as children are wont to do at that age.

    Seriously, those kind of movies make me feel uncomfortable although it does happen IRL a lot.
