He's not trying to date me. He doesn't have a crush on me. We're friends, and just because a girl and a guy are friends, doesn't mean that one of them is secretly pining away after the other.

I don't know why I'm even trying to respond to you people when it's clear that he and I are just friends, and you all are just making shit up to try and tease me.
    and it's nice enough to
    make a man

    weep, do
    you?

Not now, but who knows back in the day.

My point is, even if I was just friends with a girl, I would still want her to say that I am attractive, objectively speaking, even if she herself didn't view me in that way.

I think it's the same for a girl. I could be your friend, but still say that you're attractive, even if I thought of you like a sister and would not personally date you.

If I said "I don't even think of her in those terms", you would probably think it was just a polite way of saying "nice person, but not attractive".

“Everybody has a secret world inside of them. All of the people of the world, I mean everybody. No matter how dull and boring they are on the outside, inside
them they've all got unimaginable, magnificent, wonderful, stupid, amazing worlds. Not just one world. Hundreds of them. Thousands maybe.” -Neil Gaiman

You're right about this in the short run, but not in the long run. Re: the last sentence, for example, that's true initially, but then after many years of friendship it ceases to matter.

Taking the first steps in learning a foreign language is an incredibly daunting task. I wonder how so many people do so without becoming incredibly discouraged.

Marijuana has a good chance of being legalized in Washington State tomorrow.

Initiatives are on the ballot in Colorado, Oregon, and Washington.
Your representative owes you, not his industry only, but his judgment; and he betrays, instead of serving you, if he sacrifices it to your opinion.

I'm voting Green, but not necessarily because of Jill herself or even because of the party's specific platform. My vote be a statement of "Hey, guys! Can we shift to the left just a little bit? Thanks!"

But I'm probably the only person in my entire state voting for someone who isn't Mitt anyway.

I tried to look up my polling place. Luckily I know where it is at because the government site I was on misspelled the street name
