    I have noticed the average ratio of posts-to-views to be around 1:10. I judge a thread's/blog's quality based off of this observation.

    I've noticed this as well but would not necessarily think that it says much about a threads quality since tastes vary too much and trainwrecks sometimes attracts bystanders while good ideas might get overlooked if they are started at the wrong time of the day when there is little forum traffic, etc.

    Ah, yeah, always those black sheep events. Any variance to the equation, I enjoy thinking of the variables on why it arose that way.
