Nope, that's all you need to know about PJ O'Rourke.

You’ve heard the story about Anybody, Nobody, Somebody, and Everybody?

An important job had to be done and Everybody was sure that Somebody would do it. Anybody could have done it, but Nobody did it. Somebody got angry about that because it was Everybody’s job. Everybody thought that Anybody could do it, but Nobody realized that Everybody wouldn’t do it. It ended up that Everybody blamed Somebody when Nobody did what Anybody could have done.

Fifteen minutes to Judge Wapner and Kmart sucks!

You know what's weird? I was just thinking about you, no more than 5 minutes ago. Then I jump online and see you quoted a post of mine.

We've decided this year not to hand out candy for trick or treaters. We've just had no Halloween spirit this year... no costumes, no parties. It is okay.
Masquerading as a normal person day after day is exhausting.

Wherever you go, someone will be richer than you and look down on you; and someone will be poorer than you and hate you for it. So just learn to not care either way.

I like reaching the point where I've given due diligence to all of my responsibilities and have passed my balls off to other people.

    My balls.

When they get back to me, I'll do what I need to do. If I can avoid it, I refuse to be a bottleneck.

It forces me to take a breather. There's always something that I could be doing, but.. you know, there's an effort/payback tradeoff. Due diligence doesn't mean busting ass all the time.

This is good. Kinda like the bystander effect, wherein nobody does something that needs to be done because they assume that someone else will.

According to iTunes Bad Religion's first single from the new record is called "F**k You". Apparently the song is 2:13 minutes long and will be released on November 6th.

Today has been a tiring day. I'm tired. Luckily, tomorrow is the last day in the office for awhile, and I am taking a time out to have lunch with my mommy.
