One of my friends suggested that I was impatient, and the others just immediately chimed in and wholeheartedly agreed without a second thought.

I had no idea that I came across as so strongly impatient.

    Oh.

I think this depends on the situation and your position. I mean, I can think of several situations where technology not working could workout to someone's benefit. haha.

Last night I dreamed that I impulsively chopped my hair off, and then regretted it. In the dream, I was hoping it was a dream that I'd wake up from, but I didn't think it was.

90% of the times I see people request name changes, my reaction is, "but your current name is better!"

    post inspired by @Beefeater.

oh well. I wanted to change my name for at least a year and it was going to be either beorn, hurin, or turin. beorn won because I liked the idea of calling a new blog "beorn's hall." Plus Hurin and Turin are ultimately depressing names if you're familiar with Tolkien's The Children of Hurin. Also, Hurin has the problem of being pronounced "whore'n."

As much fun as could be had with Hurin, I have to concede that Beorn is probably better.
Welp. Beefeater had a good run.
