Productive day already, even though I forgot to set my alarm and woke up at the time I was supposed to be at work.
Masquerading as a normal person day after day is exhausting.

Now that McGuffin is gone, I not only fear for my own safety but also strongly advise anybody against changing their user name to Chekhov's Gun.

Dearest family, I realize I am the only computer-savvy person you know... And I am happy to cure your laptops of their shady-porn-induced-virus ailments... But I am not at your beck and call like Geek Squad. I don't want to drop everything I'm doing to fix it RIGHT that minute. You can not just show up at my apartment unannounced, sit your laptop in front of me, and plop down on my couch and wait.

    It doesn't work like that.

Unless you want to start paying me.

It doesn't help stop the idea that foxnews watchers are stupid when they refer to google as "Ya know that big technology company we all use for internet searches" or a quarterly financial report that doesn't meet profit expectations as "ya know it's like getting a bad grade on your report card."
Take the weakest thing in you
And then beat the bastards with it
And always hold on when you get love
So you can let go when you give it

The only thing that might help stop that idea, would be if they tuned into different news channel.
