    To check your oil level:
    1) Turn the engine off.
    2) Let it cool for a minimum of 15 minutes.
    3) Pop the hood, pull the dipstick out.
    4) Wipe the dipstick with a clean cloth (a paper towel will do) and reinsert (fully) into the tube.
    5) Pull the dipstick out again and look at the level on the end. Lines or crosshatching etched into it should indicate the appropriate level, like so:

The difference between the 'low' mark and the 'full' mark on the dipstick corresponds to about a quart of oil.
Hmm, ok it is hilariously full of oil now. >.> Is that a bad thing now? I am bringing it into the dealership on Tuesday to get the oil changed and they are going to inspect it.

I was wondering if perhaps my battery could be going out, as when I started it up last night all of my clocks were reset.

Thank you for your help btw.

I wonder who the first automobile fatality was, and how it happened.

My logic suggests it'd have been on the assembly line or trying to get the infernal combustion engine beyond the R&D stage.

Yes, yes it is a bad thing.

If it can be helped I wouldn't drive it anymore until the oil is changed on Tuesday.

There are usually only a few reasons why a gasoline engine won't start, and they boil down to either a lack of fuel or a lack of electricity. A battery can only take so many charges and they tend to wear out within about five years. If yours has not been replaced in that time it may be that the battery has reached its end of life. The fact that your clock reset means the clock lost power at some point; it could be that the battery needs replacing or it could mean that the cables connecting to the battery are loose or not contacting the battery terminals properly.
