It's not comfortable being under the gun, but it's so much more engaging than business as usual. Maybe I should break things so I can frantically fix them.

Sometimes the solution is in asking the right question.

People always ask, "What if dreams could come true?" I used to do that. It's a setup for failure. The outcome was sadness.

Now I ask, "What can I do to make those dreams come true?" The result is more work, but it's a fun work with a hope. It's a setup for success.

Got my flu shot today when I got my prescription for migraine meds [finally! *throws confetti*].

Apparently, my crazy ESTP grandfather insists that the flu shot is really just part of a government conspiracy to weed out the population. . .

why do people, who have access to running water, drench themselves in perfume? my eyes are watering, and I actually feel nauseated from the scent.

note: the offending woman is 25 feet away from me.

I hate that. Utterly vile. They must have absolutely no concept of what they smell like. I've had asthma attacks because of that garbage.

I know. It's all I can do to not say something like "If you want to come into my business, then you need to not smell like you bathe in the rotted blood of flowers."

    thanks.

    ^^ that.

A lot of work places are scaling back on allowing people to wear that shit to work, now. Same with dr offices.
Prevalence of multiple chemical sensitivity increasing. People can go into renal failure from something as simple as a dryer sheet, it's nuts.

We were just discussing that in vent, a bit. I was bitching about those women at cosmetics counters in Macy's who spritz the godawful draincleaner they're peddling in my face when I'm trying to cut through the store/escape.

Water is obviously vile and contains germs whereas the alcohol in the perfume kills the germs.

    :P
