I've posted this before, and yes I do realize the irony of starting this particular post that way, but....

If you have to start a sentence with 'Like I said'.... YOU DO NOT NEED TO SAY THAT SENTENCE!
Masquerading as a normal person day after day is exhausting.

Sometimes one does. If it doesn't get said it often results in an "I told you so" later, which I would imagine comes across as even more annoying to the person on the receiving end.

Its the Dunning-Kruger effect or something like that.

I like that quote a lot even if I don't like Bertrand Russell.
Take the weakest thing in you
And then beat the bastards with it
And always hold on when you get love
So you can let go when you give it

Well yeah, if you know the person didn't hear you or wasn't paying attention or didn't process what you said. But if you know full well that they heard it and processed it... ugh!! So annoying to hear the same point made 6 times in one conversation!

I am so angry with my parents right now I could scream. I specifically told them if the vet. said it looked bad and recommended she be euthanized, I wanted to know ASAP so I could leave work early and drive down there to say my goodbyes.

Now they're texting me sorry it's too late, it's already happening. She has been a beloved family pet for years. Unbelievable, but so typically thoughtless of them.

    WHAT. THE. F*CK.
