It's a weakness. Sorry. As a general rule, you should expect that.

I dont think of it as either, it used to be a pretty standard social norm or expectation before the bogus "its not me, its you" paradigm shift...

Ahh, that's what I figured. Although, it's kind of more directed at people who might recognize their MAJOR, serious faults but refuse to not be like that. Or to be more precise, people who might even begin to believe they have no negative traits, which is a bad trait in itself.

But as I said, I meant the big faults in their personality, like serious anger issues, being overly power-hungry or controlling...Those things. So I'm guessing that is one thing I should work on~?

That saying makes me think of someone my friend used to know who pushed even the mildest of blame onto somebody else. They absolutely REFUSED to accept failure and/or wrongdoing on their part. Ugh.

It's just about a universal social norm, there are entire political creedos built on it and seeking validation from others, often anonymous strangers or legal authorities.

You're completely correct. Perhaps that's why, when you look deeper, that thing we call "society" really isn't as idealistic as it could be. Am I making any sense or do I just sound illiterate?

Now that's quite normal, these situations aren't comfortable at all. But I'd still call it a weakness if you're letting this affect your mood too much.

Idealistic in what sense? Do you mean that society is not a blessing perhaps? It may be or may not be is all I could say.

Just talked with a pretty cool guy online, but the fact that he finishes his messages using the phrase ''God be with you'' rubs my Ti the wrong way.

It's time for some coffee . . . and God be with you.
