    That's far less mean, for we, at the very least, recognize that it is a tangent, related or not.

    I just had a funny idea. (Listening to Alan Watts may have contributed in this)...

    If "faith starts where reason ends", then it would mean that some people have more faith than reason, people you would call... dumb. So, people with lots of reason would have less faith. But if you have the capacity to take reason further than you would (if you are intelligent religious person), then you actually don't have a lot of faith, since you dare not take it that far in fear of reason "winning" the game against faith. You don't have faith in faith. That would mean that a person who takes reason as far as possible to see if there is anything outside it would be the one with most faith.
